HE IS RISEN! On this Resurrection Sunday, we look at the the events of Holy Week. On "Good Friday," Jesus suffered and died on the cross. It is "good" because through His death, the penalty for sin was paid in full. No debt is owed to God anymore! Pastor Scott spends some time talking about sin, what it is and the devastating impact it has on every facet of life. Jesus sacrificed Himself because "In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness" (Hebrews 9:22, NIV).
