In this part of the story, we look at how God delivered His people from slavery and death in Egypt. God called Moses and his brother Aaron to stand before Pharaoh and demand they let God's people go. The Pharaoh refused so God brought about the Ten Plagues. Each one of the plagues demonstrated that God was the only god and all of the gods the Egyptians worshiped were false gods. Only God can deliver us from the slavery of sin.
In this part of the Story, we look at the lower story of Joseph and the many ups and downs throughout. He had to be asking the question: "Where is God in all of this?" Many times, I ask that question myself. But God continues to work His plan in the upper story. We just need to see God's perspective. Joseph's story helps us do just that.

God bless your week!
In the next part of The Story we see God's covenant with Abraham and how it shaped Abraham and Sarah's life an the nation of Israel. God chose one family of misfits to build a nation so that when people saw the blessing upon Israel, there was only one reason: God. There would also be only one outcome: God's glory. The Salvation clue in this part of the real-life story can be found in God's promise to Abraham that EVERY nation on earth would be blessed through Abraham.
