In this sermon, Pastor Scott looks at mutual submission between a parent and child. Children are to obey and honor their parents. Parents are to bring children up in the admonition and training of the Lord. This is a key relationship that FBC is dedicated to help strengthen.
Faith Bible Church is going about God's business of developing ordinary people into vibrant followers of Christ. This is the purpose statement that the leaders of FBC wrote a few years ago. Pastor Scott provides the history and biblical support for it and outlines his vision for the future of FBC. At the end, Pastor Scott challenges the members and attenders to decide if this is a purpose statement they can get behind and support (and do!).
Faith Bible Church welcomes Scott Maxon as their new pastor. Dr. Mike Huber, President of the Berean Fellowship of Churches, challenged the congregation. Toni Crocker from Cheyenne Berean, spoke to Lyndsey Maxon and the church about what to expect from the wife of the pastor. Finally, Dr. Richard Crocker, the Lead Pastor from Cheyenne Berean, challenged Scott to be a shepherd.
